Build on the power of your intentions in community.

In this ritual we honor the beginning of the end of winter marked by the first perceptible elongation of daylight.

Imbolc is the Celtic celebration of the time of year when we begin to see the return of signs of life in the desolate winter landscape.

Gather around our outside fire pit to dance, sing and drum and then go inside for a communal sauna together. Sweat out the old and bring in the new. The outside cold plunge will be full for icy dips during your sauna session.

February 1, 7pm - 8:30pm

$50 per person

Limited to 6 adventurers!

A small statue of a child with bare feet and traditional clothing is positioned above a spiral design in an altar, which has a metallic cross resting on it. The altar is surrounded by a circular arrangement of reddish bricks.

What is Imbolc and what happens in this ceremony?

Imbolc, also known as The Quickening, is the time of year when the first stirrings awaken beneath the soil. As our bodies are reflective of the changes Earth Mother moves through on the Wheel of the Year, we too feel ourselves turning towards spring, energetically and physically. It is a time to tend to our inspirations, ideas and desires. The seedlings and roots of our manifestations are gently turned towards the warming light of our attention.

This ceremony will be a gathering around a fire with our fellow humans to collectively sing our seedlings awake. Drum, dance and sing around the fire, breathing in the fresh air and letting the elements move the stagnancy that can build in the winter time. Celebrate in community the turning of the Wheel of the Year and fly on the momentum of the power generated by the group. Seal this work with relaxation and detoxification in the sauna and/or a dip in the outdoor cold plunge. It is so important to push ourselves to spend time outdoors after a long season inside, especially gathered with others. We need each other to heal and rise.
