Twin Wolves Healing Arts is a vibrant alternative health community based in Old Chatham, New York. The name “Twin Wolves” was inspired by the Cherokee folk legend “The Story of Two Wolves,” asking the question, “which wolf wins?” The answer: the wolf that you feed.

Our health is largely attributed to the choices we make and how we feed our bodies, minds, and spirits. At Twin Wolves Healing Arts we provide affordable and holistic spa offerings to support your wellness. Some of our individualized services include, cedar saunas with low-EMF red light therapy panels, a state-of-the-art cold plunge tub, a crystal PEMF mat, and halotherapy (salt therapy).

The power of community in the healing process can not be understated. Twin Wolves encourages opportunities to connect with local holistic practitioners, group classes, workshops, and events in our indoor and outdoor community spaces. Please come by and visit our community garden and say hello to our goats! We also proudly sell locally sourced honey from bees housed in the gardens. Flowers and herbs grown are utilized to create tinctures, salves, teas, and homeopathic remedies available seasonally.

Twin Wolves is also connected to Springtime Jellyfish, a stop-motion animation studio run by Cait Davis. The studio plans to offer art classes and workshops in various art forms such as animation, painting, sculpture and music as well stop-motion animation demonstrations. Cait is the founder of Twin Wolves Healing Arts, you can learn more about her story below.

The Story of the Two Wolves

There is a battle of two wolves inside us all.

One is anger, jealousy, greed, resentment, inferiority, lies, and ego.

The other is joy, peace, love, hope, humility, kindness, empathy and truth.

Which wolf wins?

The one you feed.

Meet Cait…

Cait Davis is a successful artist, entrepreneur, champion of sustainability, and exemplar of holistic health. In 2014 she founded Springtime Jellyfish, a stop-motion animation company that has grown from personal passion to serving national nonprofits and multi-million-dollar clients.

After moving her operation to upstate New York, Cait contracted Lyme disease while building her own off-grid cabin in the woods. She felt strongly she could be best served through alternative medicine and immediately got to work, healing herself completely naturally, using a combination of herbalism, alternative treatment modalities, and a healthy dose of optimism. Her experience with natural healing and her growing connection with the earth sparked a passion for holistic health and a desire to empower others to be their own healer. That’s why, in 2024, she decided to combine her success in business with her love of creativity and her passion for health to create Twin Wolves Healing Arts. Cait envisions a warm, welcoming space that fosters real community and real health for all. Featuring an array of state-of-the art, natural and holistic treatment modalities, a diverse team of holistic health practitioners, regular educational offerings, the beauty of creative arts and a back-to-nature philosophy and ethos, Twin Wolves is sure to be an oasis of healing in beautiful upstate New York.

When she’s not busy running her business or working on her off-grid cabin, Cait enjoys studying herbalism, learning new creative arts, drinking tea with her friends, and taking her beloved dog, Pinto Bean, and her two goats, Chestnut and Hazelnut, for long walks in the woods.
