The Abode is a retreat center and sanctuary promoting collective and individual discovery through meaningful experiences and opportunities for growth. We serve the well-being of others by offering classes, retreats and gatherings that create a time to pause and reflect with guidance from sacred teachings, creative process, Earth based initiatives and contemplation.
You can book a stay for a large group, visit the Abode for the day, or look to our current offerings. However you wish to be a part of the Abode, make it your own sanctuary.
The Abode is a beautifully renovated Shaker site that offers historic and comfortable spaces for your retreat in an inspiring landscape . All accommodations and meeting rooms are centered around a lovely stone courtyard for easy access. Amenities include an authentic Shaker dining room, a welcoming library and many acres of hiking trails with access to forest, field and stream.
