Meet Johannah Hunter, Shamanic Practitioner
I am a woman who is thoroughly obsessed with Earth Mother and all her beings. It is my great honor and pleasure to assist those who are ready to come back home to themselves and feel true happiness and health. I graduated with an Associate’s in Environmental Science due to my lifelong deep love of the Earth and this love has woven it’s way through all of my life choices. I am a gardener, an herbalist and shamanic practitioner. These all being ways of life that have a great honoring and deep reverence for Earth Mother. She has saved my life, for it was not always so sunny for me. I have been to the deepest darkest places and back. Saving my life from ancestral addictions and curses through connection to Earth and shamanic practices. It has been a long road that sometimes feels so slow, but our bodies always reveal the next layer that is ready to be held and we are never given more than we can handle. Training as a Shamanic Practitioner showed me what all the pain was for, as I turn and help others face their pain, unflinching and courageous in the face of others hurt. Bringing it all back full circle to the freedom and joy within us that sits waiting to be discovered under the layers of what is not us. Clearing away distortions to reveal the inner treasures, that were and are always ours.

What is a Shamanic Practitioner?
They are one who bridge the seen and unseen worlds to bring healing, guidance and balance. Not necessarily belonging to any one tradition, they work in harmony with nature and spirit allies – like power animals, ancestors and elemental forces to restore balance to individuals and communities. A Shamanic Practitioner can use tools such as drums, rattles, breath, voice, feathers, stones and the teachings of the Medicine Wheel to track energy. This tracking shows the practitioner where a person’s energy is blocked or fragmented and help retrieve lost soul parts, clear attatchments and restore wholeness. The heart of their work is about connection – to self, others, the Earth and the web of life. They are not the ones doing the healing, but act as intermediator to bring the client back to their own power and innate healing abilites. They walk their path with high ethics and integrity, always working for the highest good of all.
In any given Energy Medicine Session one or more of the following will occur:
- Performing the Process of Illumination, which is the fundamental work of healing the LEF (Luminous Energy Field), in which I clear and balance the chakras to ensure that they are moving in the free flowing way they were intended.
- Tracking for energy chords and crystalized energy forms that drain and block the natural flow of Life Force Energy.
- Removal of parasitic energies and entities that can attach themselves to the LEF.
- Journeying to retrieve lost soul parts that have fractured due to traumatic events
- Assisting in the rewriting of soul contracts
- Transitioning souls (Death Rites) that have moved on from the Earth plane and have formed an energetic chord to the client. Holding a loving space and assisting the loved one in fully crossing over. Providing assistance and support with the grief of the loss.

What is Reiki?
Originating from Japan, this healing modality was awakened in Mikao Usui while he was on a 21 day fast on Mount Kurama. Rei – Universal, God Consciousness. Ki – life force energy, chi, prana. In other words God consciousness that guides life force. This is a non-invasive, gentle and supportive energy that brings harmony and balance to mind, body and soul. It works on every level of the being and moves with it’s own wisdom. The practitioner is merely a channel and steps out of the way, allowing the innate knowing of God Consciousness to move where it is needed. This can be a hands on or hands off session, whichever is of more comfort to the client.

What is a Card Reading?
Using the sacred tools of the Tarot system and Oracle cards, the reader taps into the pictures, numbers and symbols on the cards that reveal themselves through Spirit for the querent. Using intuition, the blessed inner knowing, the reader channels uplifting messages from the higher Source to guide the querent to their highest timeline, give encouragement and comfort. This is not fortune telling, this is support straight from the Divine. .
